HOW TO SURVIVE THE MONDAY BLUES
AMSTERDAM | January 15, 2017
It’s the end of the weekend, the Sunday last for just a few hours which means the Monday is close. I might sound weird to many people (but okay let’s admit that I am just a little weird), but I actually like Mondays. As much as most people hate it, I actually look forward to the beginning of a new week. Time to set new goals and get back to work. So, no Monday Blues for me. Yes you heard that right. How am I doing this? How can I look forward to a freaking MONDAY?! Well, it’s easy and with these tips, you will survive your Monday Blues as well!
EARLY NIGHT, EARLY MORNING
When the alarm goes on a Monday, you often don’t want to leave your bed, so you keep telling yourself that it is okay to use the snooze button one more time. I know how good, warm and comfy your bed may look (especially if you have bedrooms like these), but getting out the first moment your alarm goes is really the best way. You will feel much more awake and active to beat that Monday Blues. Try to go to bed early on Sunday. Read a book and relax. Waking up early won’t be a problem if you had a relaxt Sunday evening.
If you set goals for the week, you have something to work on and wake up for. The more you do on a Monday, the more time you have in the weekend to do NOTHING at all. How good does that sound? These goals can be about literally anything. From making your assay for school, getting new deals in your job to cleaning your house.
Don’t forget to be nice for yourself. If you achieved your goal than it’s okay to treat yourself. Go to the movie, cook a good dinner or have fun with friends. Make plans for the weekend so you have something to look forward to all week. Work extra hard so the time will pass by quicker and it’s weekend before you know it.
Have a good Monday y’all! Xo
