VICTORIA BECKHAM FOR ESTÉE LAUDER
AMSTERDAM | December 19, 2016
Christmas time not only ask for a bunch of Christmas presents, a lot of food, champagne and a stunning outfit. It also asks for a party make-up on fleek! I am usually very natural in my make-up, as you all know. I love a little blush or a bold lipstick, but eyeshadow is something I usually skip. Except when there is a nice party and I got some new palettes to try out, then I love to experiment with a little smokey eye and create something that fits me the best. Recently, Victoria Beckham created a collection for Estée Lauder, one of my favroite beauty brands as you may know by now.
I am absolutely obsessed with this collection, so that’s why I am more than excited to share the look I created with the products with you today. Starting with a good skincare. For years now I am using the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair and I can honestly say it’s the best skincare product you can think of. It’s the base for every good skincare routine. A products everybody should have. And you don’t even have to use all Estée Lauder skincare for it, because you can combine it with almost every brand you can think of. *this is not sponsored or anything, I just really believe in this product :)
Next up, I use the newest Double Wear Cushion Foundation Stick for a flawless skin all day and night long. I wasn’t really a foundation user, but I have to admit that I have been falling in love with this one. It’s much lighter on your skin than any other foundation from Estée, and it easy and quick to apply. Next up, after doing my contouring, blush, highlight and eyebrows, it’s time for the eyes. I start with the brown color called Bitter Clove from the VB collection and apply it all over my eyelid and a little underneath my eyes. If you apply it with a bigger brush like I do here, the color is really soft and natural. The more you apply (and the smaller your brush) the more intens you make it.
For the smokey effect I use the color Ink in the outer corners of my eyes and define it with the Double Wear Infinite Eyeliner. Of course you finish of the look with some mascara – I use the Sumptuous Bold Volume here – and a nice lip. I use the Victoria Lip Pencil and fill in my whole lips, add some gloss over it et voilà, your party make-up is ready! Merci! X
