When talking about classics, I literally can’t live without my classic white shirt. I have over 10 white shirts hanging in my closet. From very simple and casual, to the more detailed ones. I think they’re just perfect if you don’t know what to wear. Just pull of a white shirt with a skinny jeans and you’ll look great. I got this love for white shirts from my mom. I think she has more than 20 in her closet haha. When it comes to the right shirt, I am very picky in what I choose. It has to be well fitted, clear white and made out of a good material so you can wear it for years.
A brand that always gives me this trusted and classic feeling is Gant, which I think you will all know as well. I mean, I can still see my father and little brother both wearing their mint green polo’s, totally in a match during a holiday in Italy. Gant is also a brand where you can’t go wrong with when it comes to the perfect white shirt. The quality is so good that it last for years and the fit is just perfect. Like this model that I am wearing today. It’s their classic Oxford shirt which I honestly wore already a million times since I got it. Especially now since the weather is making it so hard to decide what to wear.
Besides wearing a white shirt super classy, chic or casual, I want to show you how to wear it comfortable as well, during the weekends for example. Most people think a shirt is a really dressy item, while for me it’s wearable for any time of the day or week. So, I combined it with my cashmere flared trousers – who are just like heaven – together with some snake printed booties and my beautiful Chloé Faye bag, for okay, a chic touch. How would you wear your classic Oxford shirt? Let me know in the comment section below or by sharing your style using the hashtag #Gant and #Oxfordshirt.
