Beauty time! Or do I say pampering time? As today is all about giving your skin an extra vitamine boots with three new products I recently discovered and absolutely love. Besides the fact that I love to treat myself with beautiful bags and shoes, I also really like to treat myself with a good skincare. This doesn’t mean you have to buy the most expensive pots of cream or get a golden facial at some kind of beautician. No, this can be very simple, like enjoying a long bath with a good book and the right products afterwards, for example.
At the moment I am crushing over the new beauty line from Douglas called Douglas Naturals. As the name is already saying, it is a pure and natural beauty line where they only combined effective Argan oil with powerful ingredients, made by Mother Nature. All products are biologic and vegan, which makes it even more interesting for me. On a lazy Sunday like yesterday, I like to use a mask for a deep cleaning and let my face rest for a while. This peeling mask is a super easy and effective on the go essential as it comes in small bags, enough for 3 times using. Afterwards, I give my skin an extra boost with the Face Serum, which is not only hydrating, but also protects and smooths the skin. And after this long warm bath, I grease my body with this lovely smelling Body Oil, which makes my skin feels so soft again. A soft skin always makes me feel more confident, but also gives me this little bit of peace in busy periods.
The Douglas Naturals line is big enough to fill your whole bathroom with, but this are the three must have essentials for me while doing a little getaway. The best ways to do a little me-break, is to go on a mini holiday. This doesn’t mean you have to go to this far far away island (which is also a very good choice, of course). This can be around he corner, such as the Van Der Valk Hotel Veenendaal where we shot these stunning photos. A huge thanks to their team where we had the opportunity to shoot all morning long in their gorgeous new Wellness Suite. Hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to hear about your favorite ways of pampering your skin! XO
