You can’t tell me that a maxi dress with some heeled sandals isn’t the most flattering thing to wear. I mean, it will make you look longer, slimmer and you can twirl around like a real ballerina. Even though you might think a mini dress might be sexier, I think that, if you wear the right dress, a maxi one is way sexier. It covers up your body mostly, but if you choose for a side split for an Angelina Jolie moment, or an off-shoulder accent, you make it kinda mysterious, because what’s underneath that dress?
I’m a sure that most people will go for a black or floral maxi dress, because those are also the ones you see most in the stores. But have you ever thought about going for a full colored dress? When I saw this orange Choies dress I knew I needed to have it in my summer wardrobe, because how pretty would it look with a tanned skin and blonde highlights?! Also, I think this dress looks much more expensive than it really is, because I think we all can’t say no to such a beautiful dress for, yes, just $30..
Orange and gold is the perfect summer combination, so I wore the dress with these big gypsy earrings which I got at the Las Dalias market. Some fringed black sandals to break to look and add more length (I recommend wearing higher heels if you’re under 1,70 m). At last I of course couldn’t go out without a bag, so I choose for this way too cute embellished bag which I actually have for years – I think I was around 10 when I got it – but seriously never wore before. Perfect to give it a try in Ibiza! So now, what do you think about maxi dresses? Do you agree with me?
