The sun is shining, the temperature gets higher, the days longer; yes spring is coming! Let’s admit it, I am getting excited for it. Spring fever is already hitting me. From cleaning my house non stop, to the pressure of buying new clothes constantly.. However, that’s not what we are going to talk about today. Nope. Today is all about a new beauty look which is my personal favorite to create. I am talking about a gold spring make-up look. Why this is my favorite? Because everybody gets prettier when using some gold on their eyes, cheekbones and even – yes – lips! Scroll down to read about each step and get inspired to do your own gold make-up look!
For a flawless looking skin I am totally obsessing over the newest palette from Sisley, called the Sisley Phyto Touche. A palette which you can use as a normal powder, a bronzer and a blush. With it’s fine texture and minuscule glitter touch, you will achieve this beautiful model-like glow. Yeas!
Every eyecolor gets more sparkling and brighter by using gold. This is my to-go eye make-up when I have time enough and feel like giving my eyes a little more attention. I start basic by using the Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow in No. 12 (which I also use as a highlighter on my cheeks) and then define my crease and my lower line with the same eyeshadow but in copper gold No. 14. After the eyeshadow, I move on with the Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick and use it basically as an eyeliner. Last but not least; I apply some mascara and my eyes are all set!
As a finishing touch, we are doing the lips and nails. For my nails I went for a metallic gold nail polish by Chanel. This is an old one, but they still have a similar color in their collection. On my lips I use a coral color from again Sisley, but giving it a special touch here by using the Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in gold in the middle. Ready for a shiny spring!
