When you enter my home, you see a lot of things and a lot of different styles. That’s just how I am. When you look into my Pinterest boards for example, you see so many different photos that it is impossible to point your finger on what kind of style I have. You see a mix of romantic – botanic – fashionable and arty vibes, which I all love so much. For me, having art in my home is really important. It tells who I am and gives life to my white walls. Lately I discovered the posters from Desenio which is a wall art website with such a great variation in styles, that it is hard to choose one. So as the undecidable little creature as I am, I choose a few different styles to put together in one.
We all know the classic rules to have posters, prints and paintings on the wall and statues standing on the floor, table or cabinet. But when it comes to home decoration, rules have also changed such as in fashion. You can combine any art you want and put them on any possible place. So since I already have enough hanging on my wall, I do thought putting some art against the wall – on the ground – is a great solution so fill in the empty corner I still had in my home.
For me it was important to keep it clean – since my house it already a colour explosion – but add a little touch of natural colours as well such as fresh green. So the combination between the colourful Toucan in Paradise, together with the black and white Eiffel tower and the Dragonflies in the black frames just totally worked for me. As you can see these posters do a lot in my home and really gave it this extra touch which I was still missing. In case you want to get your own designs at Desenio, than make sure to use the code FLOORTJELOVES25 at the check out to get a 25% off between the 30th of May and the 1st of June.
