London call! Well, meanwhile we are already back home, editing and writing from my apartment in Amsterdam. Yet, I still have so much to share! Every time when doing fashion week I promise myself to update every show on the same day here on the blog, but somehow I always end up doing it when we are back home. It just takes a lot of time to get through all the images and make a good selection for on the blog. Time I rather spend in the city where I am at the moment. But it that a bad thing? At least I have a lot to tell you and catch up as we did so much while in London!
Starting with the first show of the week: Felder Felder. We kicked off our first day of LFW (which was Friday) with a meeting at the Rewardstyle London office. It was so good to meet this little family there, as they are all so lovely! So after too much chatting – and some business of course-, we were almost in a hurry to make it to the show, which was held in a fantastic location. In a dark room with golden gates, the models were hitting the runway on some speed up tunes. The collection was a very sparkling with different kind of materials, which I absolutely loved! It was a kind of darker side, which is a trend we see a lot for the next fall/winter season!
After the show, we had time for a quick coffee and tea, to run to the next show after. The second show was from Eudon Choi, which was close to Piccadilly Circus. Compared to the show before, this room was all light with more romantic and classic fashion. Again, I really loved the collection! As you know I often dress casual-chic, so the items in this show were most of the time real must haves for me. Especially the full camel look and furry shoes!
This fashion week I tried to play more with my looks, especially since we needed a lot of layers to stay warm! For LFW I was wearing something from the Dutch designers Spijkers en Spijkers every day, starting with this awesome plain suit. I combined it with two layers underneath and one big scarf over it – which turned out to still be a little too cold.. Again I was carrying around my beautiful new 3.1 Phillip Lim bag thanks to Farfetch, and added some color to my look with these red Happy Socks and bold lips. What do you think of my look? And what are your first impressions of the show? Let me know in the comments! Xx
