Here we goooo! NYFW day 4 when we attended the Custo Barcelona show. Excited that we were! I love his collections for his use of prints and colors, and the new collection didn’t disappointed us at all! From matching bags and shoes with every outfit (I mean, how brilliant to use the same pattern and fabric!), to the best flared jeans I have ever seen. These colorful printed pipes and embellished sides, are already on my wishlist for Spring/Summer 2016!
What I also really loved was the mix of men’s and woman’s wear. The diversity of the collection kept us focused until the end of the show. The best thing was, I had my first backstage experience as press! I know how things are going on backstage since I have done many fashion shows myself – especially in Istanbul – but it was so cool to see it from another side. From peeking into the lookbooks to having a little chat with the designer himself. Really worth waiting for!
For the show I wore a suede button down skirt with a denim bow tie shirt, both from Asos which I absolutely adore. I combined it with my favorite Chloé Susanna booties and Faye bag, which gave it a little western feeling; one of my personal favorite styles. A little red lip and the perfect sunshine during the day turned the photos into something special I think. Especially with this amazing background in Meatpacking District! Hope you guys enjoy the photos and I wish you all a great weekend! Xo
