From New York to Paris, to back to New York. Well, not literally, but here on the blog and in my thoughts. We just wrapped up an amazing stay in Paris where I left my heart for sure. We were there in order to attend two shows on Friday, which I cannot wait to tell you more about! But every dream comes to an end because after only two days in the city of love, we are back in Holland, writing a new article from my little room. With all this traveling from the last weeks, I feel so inspired and so grown up I guess. There are yet so many things that I still want to do and need to archive. That is the only problem of being a big dreamer, there is no limit and it never stops.
Today I take you with me to one of the dreams that came true; attending the Alice and Olivia presentation during New York Fashion Week. I have to say, this was officially my favorite collection from all that we have seen in New York. I literally wanted everything. The two designers took us to a place where the Cowboys and Indians were still taking over the landscape. In this world they became friends and created the best fashion ever. From suede and fringes, to embroidered denim and bow tie shirts. Ruffle dresses, big skirts, striped suits, you name it. There were enough ingredients to make my fashion heart beat faster.
For the day, I wore a total black and white look with some bold red lips, a thing I did quite often during Fashion Week. As it was still super super hot in New York, I wore a sheer trousers with black shorts underneath (found a similar one for you on sale!), together with a white tuxedo shirt. With my hair in a sleek ponytail, my Chanel bag to carry around my things and some Aquazzura killer heels, I felt more confident than ever. With the location and the perfect lighting of the day, I think these photos are showing the way I felt. Hope you enjoyed seeing the new collection of Alice and Olivia and my last New York Fashion Week outfit. Can’t wait to take you to Paris! XO
