Next week it’s Easter, which often means family and friends all over the place, including a lot of sandwiches, painted eggs, juices and chocolate. But how to organize a day with your beloved ones and what to make that doesn’t take too long? Okay I admit that I was in the kitchen for at least three hours, but still.. Today I did a pre-Easter brunch with my closest friends, just to enjoy time together and of course to tell you everything on how to create the perfect Easter brunch yourself next week!
It looks like a lot of food, but with 8 girls and 4 starving man it was exactly enough. I tried to find the perfect combination between savoury and sweet, so I made a variation of different sandwhiches, a salade Caprese and melon with parma ham, but also croissants, an Easter fruitcake, chocolate eggs and the prettiest spring cake ever (all recipes in the photos below). Of course a brunch like this involves a lot of tea and juices as well. Today I tried the newest Raspberry supermix from Healthy People which really tastes as good as it sounds.
But before your table looks Instagram worth, you of course need to add a lot of flowers (think pink, yellow and green) and a matching floral dinnerware. I combined my basic dinnerware with the bold ones from Pip Studio, which I absolutely love. My number one tip; take your time to enjoy creating a brunch like this to the fullest. Nothing better than spending your Sunday in the kitchen to create yummy treats to share with your beloved ones later.. Hope I inspired you for your own brunch and good luck and of course a lot of fun next weekend! Xo
Thanks to Healthy People for hydrating us with yummy juices
and to Pip Studio for the lovely dinnerware
