Oh London, it is so good to be back. I almost forgot how pretty it is here. The buildings, the clean (!) streets and the British accent which I love so so much. As I told you, we arrived in the early noon on Thursday to kick off our first fashion week here. Of course my fashion buddy and photographer is with me to live this adventure; my mom. I feel so grateful to share this journey with her and enjoy the same passion for fashion. Having endless conversations by the end of each shows and taking some awesome photos, which she became really good at!
Before I share the first pics of fashion week – from the two shows we have seen, the presentations we have been to and the outfits I wore – I first want to start with this set of images which we shot right after checking in our hotel (and before the search to Harrods which turned out to be really close!). This post is just about the right Travel Outfit, because what to wear when you’re almost all day on the go? It is obvious that you want to stay comfortable, but sweatpants are just a big NO to me.
I always go for my comfiest jeans which I can wear every day. At the moment, it is this 7 For All Mankind flared jeans in black, which is just a classic. It is really comfy as well cause it has a lot of stretch, so prefect for a (long) flight. Because it can be really cold on the plane, I always make sure to have something warm with me. Thinking about an extra cashmere cardigan or an over-sized scarf. Just because it is really cold outside now, I went for a big knit today. At last you need a pair of good walking shoes (prefer with socks so your feel won’t be cold on the plane) and a bag to fit in your needs. At the moment, I am dying over my new 3.1 Phillip Lim bag which I got from Farfetch. It is small yet still big enough for everything!
I was wearing:
Sweater: Flavio Castelli, similar
Jeans: 7 For All Mankind
Shoes: Zara, more snake print
